With word spreading about our practice and therapy all over the UK, we are now in receipt of referrals from families and support groups located some distance from our centre.
Although it is not unusual for many of our regular families to travel up to an hour or even 90 minutes for a weekly treatment session, we understand that there are certain locations where this just is not feasible.
In order to help those who live too far to come to us in a day we now offer:
- Overnight accommodation – our light house flat that sleeps four and is located within 5minutes walk of our therapy centre
- Distance therapy programmes – come to us once a term for a review and up date to your child’s activity programme. Ensure your child is monitored by an OT to ensure you are working on activities that will target specific areas of development.
- Distance visits – where our fully trained therapy staff can come to you home, your support group or your child’s school and set up a ‘temporary SI room’ using portable swing frames and equipment. Allow you child the specialist treatment they require without the travelling.
